The Edinburgh coffee shop that JK Rowling (didn’t) write Harry Potter in

One of the more intriguing Edinuburgh mysteries surrounds some graffiti in a capital coffee shop that proves the author didn’t write at the location (or did she?).

There are more than a few spots in Edinburgh that claim to have been the location that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling sat down to create her best-selling wizard series.
And while it’s been confirmed that she did in fact write some of the chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone at the likes of The Elephant House on George V Bridge (they have a plaque celebrating this) not every cafe can make such claims.
